What to expect at the Evolution Test (and what we'll update)
The second closed beta starts July 9, and it's when a lot of what's on this site gets confirmed or corrected.
The Evolution Test is Honkai: Nexus Anima's second closed beta. It runs from July 9, 2026 on PC, iOS, and Android.
It's the bigger follow-up to the 2025 alpha. HoYoverse says it expands that build with more characters, more Anima, new regions, and new systems.
Here's why it matters for this site. Almost everything you read here is still provisional. We built it from the 2025 test and from community sources, so a lot of it is our best current understanding rather than settled fact. The beta is when much of it gets confirmed or corrected, and we'll update the pages as that happens.
