No accounts, no tracking of you

There are no logins or user accounts. For traffic stats we use Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and aggregated — it doesn’t use cookies or collect personal data, which is why you won’t see a cookie banner.

The contact form

When you send a message via the contact form, your message and your email (if you choose to add one) are delivered to the site operator’s inbox via a form service (Web3Forms), purely so a reply can be sent. It isn’t sold, shared, or used for anything else. The same goes for anything you email to support@animacodex.org.

My Anidex stays on your device

Your collection in My Anidex is saved only in your own browser (local storage). It is never uploaded to us — clear your browser data and it’s gone.

Content from elsewhere

Anima artwork is hotlinked from the Fandom image CDN, and official videos are embedded through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced nocookie domain (no tracking cookies until you press play). Outbound links — Ko-fi, YouTube, official HoYoverse pages — have their own privacy policies.

Fan-made & provisional

Anima Codex is fan-made and not affiliated with HoYoverse or miHoYo. All game data is from the closed beta and leaks, so it’s incomplete and will change.
